Christmas presents also came late this year. On the 27 December 2025, Silje Helgesen signed up as new player for Unions women’s team. Bamsegjengen is enthusiastic to finally have a new Norwegian player at Union. The 21-year-old center-back was transferring from Norwegian first-division club Stabæk Fotball to 1. FC Union Berlin.
On 30 January, Silje received her Bamsegjengen “starter kit”.
Matilda contributed a net, gloves, and two bracelets, which were clearly very well received. Arnfinn delivered the package to Sweetman last Friday, when we were playing against Leverkusen, and Sweetman handed over the kit. And none of this would have happened without Rune.
