Wednesday August 28th – arriving in Berlin
Finally it’s going to happen, I am returning to Berlin for the first time since I was born! Maybe I will even meet someone from my family there? Being a mascot can sometimes be pretty lonely. I know the people from Bamsegjengen love me and always will take good care of me, but family is family I’ll say.
Thursday August 29th – getting to know the city
No rush in the morning, in Berlin they serve Breakfast almost all day, which sounds sensible to me. Who goes on a holiday to get up early in the morning just to eat breakfast? You don’t have to answer that.
Friday August 30th – match day!
As always, a healthy breakfast gives you the best chance to survive the day. Protein heaven! Chilling by the Spree, reading a little about the game and preparing for the boat trip through Berlin to “Alte Försterei, Alte Försterei, Alte, Alte, Alte Försterei” was a nice start to the day. I even saw some cool cats, or was it rats?
Saturday August 31st – the day after…
We didn’t eat breakfast early today – either, haha. We met up with Kristian and Sven Petter and had a typical Berliner breakfast, „Langsam und gemütlich“. After
Sunday September 1st – Drachenbootrennen
Dragon Boat Day!
A beautiful tradition among the fan clubs of Union. Over 60 fan clubs fight against each other, some in the professional class, most in the “fun to be amateur class”. And fun it was! We landed in 37th place among 50, and it’s only our second year! I feel something in the air…
Monday September 2nd – consolidating
Berlin is famous for the breakfast they can deliver. Brekkie at the hotel, boooring! Why not a big, or tall breakfast?
Tuesday September 3rd – open training and FuMA
Did I have luck picking going to Berlin exactly this week! I didn’t know my Fußballgötter had an open training session today! Did I learn a lot, yup! Did I meet some nice guys, giddio! I even met my hero(in) from AFTV! How much luck can a small Bear in Berlin have? Quite a lot it seems! You who know, you know. You others, well, your problem.
Wednesday September 4th – bye, bye Berlin
I guess you are tired of food photos by now, not that I can understand that, but just to show you what can be better done in Oslo. It’s so easy to find this in Berlin!
